Recently, we were saddened to learn of the passing of a past employee of EQR, Jonathan Stauffer. Jonathan was also a current team member who we worked with us on the Popo Agie Project in Lander, Wyoming. Jonathan was a talented hydrologist and will be missed by many.

Jonathan was known by some to be the stream whisperer and was crucial to getting the Fort Collins office of Wildlands Restoration Volunteers off the ground. He was also a board member of the river advocacy group, Friends of the Yampa, an organization whose mission is to “protect and enhance the river's environmental and recreational integrity through stewardship, advocacy, education and partnerships.” Jonathan and his company donated a lot of their time towards that mission.

With that in mind, EQR is donating to Friends of the Yampa in honor of our late friend and colleague, with the hopes that this contribution to a mission he cherished will renew peoples commitment to the improvement of the land in which we live in.
