Scotts Level Branch Stream Restoration

Baltimore County selected EQR to perform stream restoration on approximately 1,420 foot corridor of the main stem of Scotts Level Branch and 700 foot segment of reach 5. In stream work included 4 log cross vanes, 6 rock cross vanes, 5 boulder j-hook vanes, 192 Lf of rock toe protection, 13 log sills, 258 tons of boulders for riffle grade controls, 1,085 live stakes, 646 LF of imbricated stone bank protection, and 3 stream re-alignments with clay cores. Woody debris were scattered in the wetland areas to slow water down and create habitats.
